The role
Provide on-site Arabic-English interpretation for LEP patients, families, providers, and staff in healthcare settings.
Advocate for access to care by delivering intercultural mediation and culturally sensitive patient support.
Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure patient privacy, safety, and a positive customer experience.
Requirements include 1+ year of medical interpreting experience or a successful internship; healthcare or human services exposure preferred.
Fluency in Arabic and English with professional interpretation skills; certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
Flexible, contract-based schedule during regular business hours, with some Saturdays; compensation depends on certification and experience.
