The role
The role involves leading and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in electrical and electronic engineering, supervising doctoral research, and contributing to academic development. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in circuits, semiconductors, communications, control, power systems and electromagnetics, with a focus on practical application and industry relevance. They are expected to engage in sustained research, secure grants, supervise research students and publish widely. External engagement includes leading networks, collaborations and external examining roles. Leadership in programme development, mentoring colleagues and participating in faculty governance are key responsibilities.
