Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage a hosted virtualised network and data centre environment. You will lead VMware-based infrastructure using NSX, vSphere, and vSAN, ensuring performance, security, and scalability for mission-critical applications. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining networking components, firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery strategies, as well as Windows Server administration. You will deliver third-line support, document configurations, and mentor junior engineers, with on-call duties and Manchester-area on-site support as required. This role requires strong security and compliance focus (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and experience with audits and incident response.
