The role
The Clinical Psychology Lead role involves providing strategic and clinical leadership across therapeutic services at Meadows Care in Birmingham. The postholder will support the development of high-quality therapeutic practice, ensuring approaches such as PACE, attachment-informed practice, and trauma-responsive care are integrated into daily residential care. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, supporting workforce development, maintaining professional standards, and contributing to service innovation. The role also requires maintaining a small clinical caseload and offering consultation for complex cases, working in partnership with operational leaders to unify therapy and care. Candidates should have experience working in children's residential settings with complex young people and delivering supervision or line management to clinical staff.
