The role
DV cleared electricians are required for a contract at AWE in Burghfield, starting in August for an initial two months with potential extension. The role involves carrying out electrical installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance on a nuclear facility, including cable containment, power, lighting, and control wiring. Candidates should possess active DV clearance, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent, a valid CSCS Card, and relevant industrial or commercial electrical experience. Responsibilities include fault finding, diagnostics, compliance with safety standards, and maintaining accurate records. Flexibility in working hours and overtime may be available, with payment via CIS on a weekly basis. The position demands strict adherence to permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and site standards in a demanding technical environment.
