The role
Lead a finance organization within a business area, owning P&L performance metrics including orders, sales, operating income, and free cash flow (FCF).
Partner with the Business Area General Manager to deliver financial guidance, strategy, forecasting, and robust business management.
Recruit, develop, and engage program finance analysts; drive onboarding, training, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Communicate financial insights clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to influence performance; develop JSP, AOP, and MFR materials.
Collaborate with proposals and pricing teams to assess risks and opportunities; define KPIs and lead monthly/weekly financial cadences.
Lead through change in a defense-sector context; require meticulous detail, multi-tasking, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint; earned value management and SAP/ASC606 knowledge preferred, and eligibility for security clearance.
