Information / Cyber Security Analyst - Northampton
The Information / Cyber Security Analyst role focuses on protecting information systems and data from threats and attacks. You will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents, contributing to the ongoing improvement of security posture. Duties include reviewing external SOC escalations, assessing severity, and coordinating containment or remediation with IT operations and external vendors. Assist in prioritising patch management, strengthen identity and access management, and configure the security toolset. Ensure data protection compliance with DLP solutions and maintain security policies and audit documentation. Stay informed about emerging threats and tooling, develop incident response playbooks, support disaster recovery and business continuity, and coach less experienced staff.
