The role
Key member of the financial management service, supporting the annual budget and the medium-term financial strategy.
Liaise with Service Managers and Directors to develop detailed annual budgets and oversee monthly financial monitoring.
Perform detailed financial analysis of service costs and income, including trend analysis, benchmarking, grant claims, and modelling for data-led planning.
Utilise strong IT skills to automate and streamline processes across the finance function.
Take responsibility for budget monitoring, reporting, forecasting, statutory returns, and year-end activities.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in financial management (public sector preferred) and be AAT qualified or part-qualified, with the ability to communicate clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.
