The role
A contract Process Engineer is sought in Grangemouth to contribute to a high-performing process technology team, working on projects across synthesis and formulation operations. Responsibilities include improving manufacturing efficiency, leading cost transformation initiatives, designing processes, troubleshooting, and safety management within a COMAH Top Tier framework. The role involves commissioning and start-up of plant modifications, utilising digital tools and AI-assisted methods to optimise outcomes. Candidates should demonstrate energy, curiosity, strong problem ownership, teamwork, adaptability, and an interest in digital engineering technologies. Qualifications ideally include a degree in chemical or process engineering, experience in process manufacturing, knowledge of safety principles, and familiarity with digital tools and methodologies. Chartered status or progress towards it is advantageous.
