The role
The Industrial Engineer analyzes, designs, and optimizes warehouse and fulfillment processes to boost productivity and reduce costs.
They develop engineered labor standards and conduct time studies and work sampling to identify opportunities for improvement.
They model capacity, design layouts, optimize slotting, and improve throughput and storage density.
They collaborate with IT and operations to optimize WMS configurations and evaluate automation technologies such as conveyors, pick-to-light, sortation, and robotics.
They support onboarding of new clients, site startups, and expansions, providing ROI analyses and scalable workflows.
They apply data-driven decision making and Lean/Six Sigma methods to drive measurable performance gains and sustainable growth.
