Senior Electrical & Mechanical Estimator – Glasgow

The Senior Electrical & Mechanical Estimator at Arcadis is responsible for delivering accurate, risk-informed capital cost estimates for multidisciplinary engineering projects. The role involves developing and owning estimating strategies, coordinating inputs from various disciplines, and ensuring estimates align with industry standards such as CESMM4, ICMS2, and ICMS3. The person will develop and maintain project Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and align them with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle. They will review contractor quotations, support cost validation exercises, and mentor junior estimators, contributing to continuous process improvement. The role requires experience in estimating for large-scale infrastructure, nuclear, defence, or energy projects, with strong stakeholder management and technical skills in cost planning, risk analysis, and estimating tools.
