The role

An Industrial Engineer in Buckingham is responsible for conducting time studies and motion analysis to establish standard times and provide feedback. They design and optimise factory layouts to enhance production flow, eliminate bottlenecks, and minimise material travel. The role involves leading improvement initiatives and developing standard work documentation including work instructions and cycle time targets. The engineer manages capital equipment justifications and models current and future production capacity to identify gaps and develop solutions. They support ergonomic reviews, coordinate engineering changes, and assist with New Production Introduction phases, ensuring smooth transitions and effective process development. Strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a pressurised environment are essential.
