Lead Data Analyst – Milton Keynes

The Lead Data Analyst role involves managing the Business Intelligence functions within an organisation, overseeing the Data & MI team, and transitioning from legacy reporting systems to a Microsoft Azure environment. This position requires driving data governance, enhancing data quality, and ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and business alignment of reporting solutions. The role entails working closely with finance, IT, and senior stakeholders to translate complex requirements into insights using Power BI, Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and SQL, while promoting best practices in reporting and data management. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring team members, encouraging continuous development, and establishing a robust data function that adds commercial value. Candidates should have substantial experience in Power BI, SQL, data modelling, and Azure analytics, alongside team leadership and strategic planning skills, and are expected to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
