The role
The role involves leading the development, deployment, and management of a multi-tenant private cloud platform based on OpenStack, ensuring scalability and reliability for engineering teams. Responsibilities include automation using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible, and developing APIs and automation scripts in Python. The engineer will oversee incident response, perform root cause analysis, and drive system improvements across compute, network, and storage layers. Candidates should possess strong skills in OpenStack projects, Linux internals, and programming languages like Python and C. Experience with large-scale secure multi-tenant systems, GitOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is essential, while knowledge of Kubernetes and hybrid cloud platform management is advantageous.
