The role
A Mechanical Design Engineer is sought to support the development of new products and improve existing designs within a manufacturing environment. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, electrical engineering, and manufacturing to ensure products meet quality and legislative standards. The role involves working on design projects from concept to production, preparing technical documentation, and supporting customer enquiries. Candidates should have a strong mechanical engineering background, experience with CAD and FEA, and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is advantageous.
