The role
A full-time preceptorship for clinical or counselling psychologists is available within a bipolar mental health service in Birmingham. The role involves delivering psychological therapies such as MoT, CBT, and family interventions, with opportunities to develop specialist skills and conduct research. The post requires experience in working with complex mental health needs, including bipolar disorder and psychosis, and with diverse communities. It offers training towards accreditation in therapies and leadership roles, supporting service innovation and community mental health improvement. The position is based at Tall Trees, with options at Band 7 or 8a depending on experience, and includes working in multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored psychological care.
