The role
An exhibition carpenter designs, builds, and installs exhibition stands and displays for clients across the UK and Europe. The role involves working in a workshop preparing components and constructing stands, as well as travelling to various venues to install and dismantle exhibits. Candidates are expected to be proficient in woodworking and carpentry, capable of interpreting drawings, and working to deadlines. The role requires a full driving licence and a willingness to travel and stay away from home when necessary. Overtime opportunities are available, offering additional earnings, with travel expenses covered for overnight stays. The position suits practical, reliable individuals who enjoy working in a diverse, mobile environment.
