The role
A position for a clinical or counselling psychologist or senior psychological therapist in Norwich involves delivering a broad range of psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions to diverse client groups within a community mental health team. The role includes providing individual and group therapies, contributing to workshop programmes, and supporting the development of evidence-based practices. The post requires expertise in psychological assessment methods and therapeutic modalities, alongside strong communication skills and a good understanding of mental health legislation. The successful applicant will work under supervision within a multidisciplinary team and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives. A relevant postgraduate qualification accredited by BPS and registration with HCPC are essential, along with experience in supervising trainees and managing complex clinical cases.
