The role
The Resource Manager coordinates the allocation and utilisation of technical resources to meet organisational objectives by ensuring the right personnel are assigned to projects based on skills and availability. This role involves developing resource plans, monitoring workforce capacity, and supporting recruitment strategies, with a focus on organisational effectiveness and operational efficiency. The candidate will collaborate with project managers and senior leaders to understand resourcing needs and provide expert advice, while fostering a collaborative team environment. Tracking key metrics and providing insights to improve resource utilisation and mitigate risks are central duties. Skills in resource planning tools, stakeholder management, and data analysis are essential, with experience in security or defence sectors considered advantageous.
