The role
An opportunity exists for an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with advanced MSK clinical experience to work as a first‑contact clinician at University Hospital Crosshouse. The role involves managing complex MSK presentations independently, requesting investigations, and supporting clinical governance, research, and pathway development. Candidates should possess a postgraduate qualification, autonomous practice skills, and excellent communication abilities. The position supports NHS Ayrshire and Arran's commitment to caring, safe, and respectful healthcare in Scotland. Work is part-time, 22 hours weekly, with a permanent contract starting from 1 April 2026, requiring a full UK driving licence. The post offers a chance to contribute significantly to primary care and MSK pathways within a multidisciplinary team.
