The role
Provide legal risk assessments for current and prospective products and advise relevant business teams accordingly.
Review outgoing marketing materials for material legal risks and ensure compliance with applicable laws.
Create policies and procedures for product launches, marketing, intellectual property, and other general legal matters.
Manage the company's intellectual property program by identifying and pursuing new protection opportunities and managing existing assets.
Advise data science teams and the broader organization on best practices related to data collection and the use of artificial intelligence.
Lead the in-house legal function, including one direct report (Product Counsel), and present complex legal requirements to technical and non-legal audiences.
