The role
Lead the design and operation of a Gradient AI platform, delivering a simple, innovative agent development experience with scalable performance.
Architect and evolve backend systems and customer-facing interactions to optimize for reliability, low latency, and cost efficiency.
Set technical standards, improve testing, instrumentation, and performance tuning; mentor engineers to foster architectural rigor.
Collaborate with product, stakeholders, and customer-facing teams to translate roadmaps into scalable technical plans and AI modernization.
Ensure operations excellence—availability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and automated IaC, CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring.
Lead development of internal tooling and explore new agent paradigms to drive future productization and efficiency.
