The role
A business development manager with experience in construction or structural steelwork is sought to head sales for a well-established manufacturer and steelwork installation specialist in Halifax. The role involves managing a sales territory across the Midlands and the North of England, developing new and existing client relationships, and preparing sales activities to maintain a robust pipeline. The position requires a background in selling and tendering structural steel, with a preference for those experienced in onboarding clients from previous roles. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting clients, building long-term relationships, and increasing sales opportunities. Skills in sales management, client relationship development, and knowledge of structural steel or related construction sectors are essential. A full UK driving licence is necessary for this role.
