The role
Yolk Recruitment supports a high-tech manufacturing company in recruiting an Environmental & Sustainability Engineer responsible for maintaining and improving environmental and energy management systems, ensuring compliance with UK environmental legislation, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves managing permits, conducting audits, developing policies, and liaising with regulatory bodies including Natural Resources Wales. Candidates should have a degree in Environmental Science or relevant engineering discipline and manufacturing sector experience in environmental compliance. The position requires technical skills in environmental management standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, along with strong communication and organisational abilities.
