The role
The role involves installing and maintaining wiring, power, and lighting systems in high-security settings at Aldermaston. Responsibilities include working on second fix wiring, containment, and troubleshooting for complex electrical installations. Applicants should hold a valid JIB Gold Card, an IPAF and recent DBS certificate, with no recent criminal convictions. Knowledge of working within secure, sensitive environments and previous experience at MOD or data centre sites are advantageous. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday, with some Saturday work at enhanced rates, for a duration of 3 to 4 months with possible extension. Security clearance and adherence to site testing protocols are mandatory to access the site and comply with health and safety policies.
