The role
Seeking a seasoned Multimedia Journalist to independently report, shoot, write, and edit compelling local news across TV, streaming, and digital platforms. You’ll own the storytelling process from pitch to publish, interviewing community members and uncovering diverse perspectives. Responsibilities include shooting video, editing with professional software, writing for broadcast, and presenting on camera under tight deadlines. Be prepared to travel to neighborhoods, engage with audiences, and adapt to breaking news and severe weather events. Required: 3+ years of TV news reporting, a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or related field, strong on-camera communication and social media skills. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced newsroom, collaborating with a cross-platform team to deliver accurate, timely, and audience-focused storytelling.
