The role
As a High School Science Teacher, you will design and implement inquiry-based instruction across Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science to prepare students for AP and college-level work.
You will foster student-led discourse, guide lab experiments, and use evidence to support advanced reasoning and scientific argumentation.
Collaborate with a grade-level team and instructional coaches to set academic goals, monitor progress, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse learners.
Build a positive, inclusive classroom culture where students feel heard, valued, and confident to share ideas.
Engage families and use data-driven practices to connect resources and support students' social-emotional and academic growth.
Commit to continuous professional development, contribute to school-wide initiatives, and advance the mission of providing rigorous, equitable STEM education.
