The role
Safely install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems across mill and processing areas (mill, leach, packing, boiler room, reagent area, acid house, conveyors).
Perform electrical analysis and advanced troubleshooting to optimize equipment and process performance; manage switchgear, grounding, and LOTOTO procedures.
Conduct preventative maintenance, calibrations, motor checks, ground fault checks, circuit metering, and SOP reviews/updates.
Execute NRC conduit bending and fastening, install cable trays, route grounds, and determine loads and feeder sizes; read AutoCAD drawings and electrical prints.
Train and mentor other electrical staff, act as fill-in supervisor when needed, and support new installations and print reading.
Work in a safety-sensitive, on-site manufacturing environment with rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation; require relevant qualifications and ability to pass assessments; physical demands as needed.
