The role
Own the cloud-native infrastructure for digital pathology workloads, focusing on secure, scalable AWS hosting and cross-cloud connectivity to Azure-based enterprise systems.
Design and implement IaC using Terraform (preferred) or CloudFormation to provision storage and compute for petabyte-scale image archives.
Build robust CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) to automate AI model deployment and software updates.
Implement observability and reliability practices with CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk to ensure high availability and performant data pipelines.
Enforce security-by-design with IAM, encryption (KMS), TLS, and secrets management to meet HIPAA, GDPR, and GxP requirements.
Operate containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS/ECS) and serverless components while integrating with on-premise scientific computing and imaging archives.
