The role
Provide specialized legal guidance to enable business strategy while identifying and mitigating cybersecurity and data protection risks.
Advise on global privacy laws and cybersecurity regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and NIST CSF considerations.
Lead incident response support, coordinating with internal teams and outside counsel, and managing regulatory communications.
Draft, negotiate, and update security terms and data processing agreements to reflect evolving obligations.
Monitor regulatory developments, conduct risk assessments, and build robust compliance programs and audits across geographies.
Partner with product, security, privacy, and operations teams to provide practical legal guidance, manage competing priorities, and support scalable growth.
