The role
An Assistant Finance & Reporting Accountant position is available in Batley, offering involvement in financial accounting, reporting, compliance, and process improvement. The role includes preparing journals, reconciliations, analysing budgets and forecasts, supporting banking, cash flow forecasting, and managing expenses and credit cards. Candidates should possess prior finance experience, solid understanding of accounting principles, and advanced Excel skills. An interest in automation, systems, and process improvement is beneficial, along with strong attention to detail and stakeholder communication skills. Study towards ACCA or CIMA is considered an advantage, providing opportunities for career development across multiple finance functions.
