The role
Senior Infrastructure Engineer to manage a hosted virtualised network and data centre environment.
You will lead VMware-based infrastructure using NSX, vSphere, and vSAN, ensuring performance, security, and scalability for mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining networking components, firewalls, VPNs, and disaster recovery strategies, as well as Windows Server administration.
You will deliver third-line support, document configurations, and mentor junior engineers, with on-call duties and Manchester-area on-site support as required.
This role requires strong security and compliance focus (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR) and experience with audits and incident response.
Hybrid remote work in Manchester with opportunity to shape infrastructure strategy in a growing, technology-driven organization.
