The role
A Network Engineer in Dalkeith will be responsible for managing and deploying network infrastructure across multiple sites, including Cisco switching and routing, SD-WAN solutions, and LAN upgrades. The role requires practical experience with network hardware and software, along with technical skills in Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, VPN, Windows, and Linux. The engineer must be proactive, deliver results, and adhere to best practices in network management, ensuring quality standards. Travel across Scotland is necessary for deployment and maintenance of network services, including some weekend and night work.
