The role
Lead chemical process optimization to enhance safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance in a complex operation.
Provide rapid troubleshooting and implement corrective actions to resolve process deviations with the operations team.
Apply mass/energy balances, unit operations, and process controls to maximize yield and product quality.
Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and capital projects to plan changes, document procedures, and train operators on new equipment.
Develop operating procedures, batch records, and flow drawings; participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive safety, compliance, and reliability through data review, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
