The role
The Food Safety Auditor evaluates food safety and compliance across UK and international sites, conducting detailed audits against industry standards. Responsibilities include preparing detailed reports, maintaining current knowledge of food legislation, and supporting standards review and customer engagement activities. The role requires a background in food science or related field, with at least ten years’ experience in food safety management and factory auditing. Certified Lead Auditor qualification and HACCP knowledge are essential, along with a valid UK passport and driver's license for travel. The position offers home-based work with UK and international travel, offering a salary ranging from £50,000 to £65,000 plus a car allowance. Working hours are from Monday to Friday, requiring dedication to maintaining high standards of technical and customer service.
