The role
A full stack web developer with expertise in PHP5 and MySQL is sought to join a digital development team based in Gateshead. The role involves working within a SCRUM team to develop high-quality, standards-compliant code using MVC development models and open-source software. The developer will be responsible for creating responsive applications with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery, while maintaining existing client projects. Knowledge of frameworks such as SilverStripe, WordPress, Magento, Kohana, or Laravel is advantageous. A strong understanding of Agile methodology, version control with GIT, and UNIX command line skills are essential. The position offers an opportunity to expand technical skills and contribute to a growing digital agency.
