The role
A Senior Programmer is responsible for architecting and developing game features and systems using C++ and in-house tools. They collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including game designers and QA testers, to optimise player experiences across multiple platforms. The role includes designing well-documented, maintainable code, guiding junior programmers, and participating in project reviews. Candidates should have a strong track record in developing complex game features in released titles and proficient optimisation skills for CPU performance and memory. Experience with cross-discipline collaboration and a genuine passion for video games are essential. Additional experience with proprietary engines, mentoring, and console development will be advantageous.
