The role
Leads the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable, secure cloud-native solutions on AWS, with emphasis on cost management.
Owns incident troubleshooting and root-cause analyses, participating in 24/7 on-call rotations.
Partners with Security and Compliance to meet regulatory requirements (PCI-DSS, SOC 2, FFIEC) and drives audit readiness.
Architects disaster recovery and high-availability strategies to ensure resilient services.
Enforces cloud security best practices (IAM, VPC design, encryption with KMS) and champions infrastructure as code using Terraform and CI/CD.
Builds observability with logging and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Splunk), maintains documentation, and guides backlog to production delivery.
