The role
A Lead AI/ML Data Scientist in Mississauga designs and deploys AI and machine learning models, including generative AI solutions, to address complex data challenges at an enterprise level. They lead the full lifecycle of model development, from data preprocessing to deployment, utilising advanced algorithms and big data tools. The role involves analysing large financial data sets to identify trends and opportunities for operational optimisation. They define project roadmaps, collaborate across teams, and ensure model scalability and performance in production environments. They translate technical findings into strategic insights for senior stakeholders and maintain comprehensive documentation for knowledge sharing. The position requires deep technical expertise and experience in AI/ML within financial services, with additional skills in statistical modelling, version control, and data visualisation.
