The role
The HSEQ Compliance Auditor monitors and delivers regional assurance programs by assessing health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance across sites and depots. It involves conducting risk-based audits, managing non-conformance data, and supporting external accreditation processes. Candidates are expected to possess recognised auditor qualifications, technical knowledge of ISO standards, and experience in utility or construction environments. The role requires project management skills, a full UK driving licence, and knowledge of HSEQ frameworks such as NEBOSH and CDM regulations. Responsibilities include preparing audit reports, facilitating audit close-outs, and promoting safe behaviours among teams and contractors. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential to effectively report findings and support continuous improvement within the organisation.
