The role
Aberdeen City Health and Social Care Partnership offers an opportunity for a pharmacist with primary care, community, or hospital experience to join the team. The role involves working across GP practices covering medicines management and pharmacotherapy to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective medicine use in line with guidelines. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation, medicines review, pharmaceutical queries, and promoting good prescribing practices. Candidates must hold a pharmacy degree, be registered with the GPhC, possess good IT and communication skills, and be able to work in various locations in Aberdeen. Some practices are within Low Emission Zones, with candidates responsible for costs. Support is available for becoming an independent prescriber if not already qualified.
