The role

The electrification compatibility engineer analyse and implement electromagnetic compatibility and grounding requirements for railway systems, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders. They review design documents, manage subcontractors, and support testing and commissioning activities. The role demands knowledge of railway subsystems, grounding, bonding, EMC/EMI, and standards such as IEC 61000 series. Candidates should hold a university degree in electrical engineering, be a licensed professional engineer or pursuing certification, and possess extensive railway project experience. Strong organisational, communication, and system engineering skills are necessary, with fluency in English. The engineer may work fully or partially remotely, depending on project requirements.
