The role
The Industrial Engineer II designs and optimizes manufacturing environments using advanced simulation tools to improve throughput and reduce waste. Develop and validate discrete-event models of workflows, equipment utilization, and facility layouts to enable data-driven decisions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather input data, define model parameters, and translate results into actionable process improvements. Support the design of manufacturing spaces, including cleanrooms, packaging areas, and support spaces, and conduct time studies and capacity planning. Assist in digital twin development and virtual commissioning strategies while ensuring compliance with GMP and applicable standards. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in industrial or systems engineering and 3–5 years of manufacturing systems experience; proficiency with FlexSim, Arena, Simio, AnyLogic, or equivalent; and strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
