The role
An industrial engineer in Totton supports operational excellence initiatives, leading and participating in cross-functional projects across EMEA offices and warehouses. The role involves analysing workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and applying Lean and industrial engineering techniques to enhance safety, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include process standardisation, layout optimisation, equipment evaluation, and collaboration with global teams to standardise practices. Candidates should have a degree in industrial engineering, proficiency in Excel, and experience with process analysis or layout design. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies, alongside data analysis skills, are highly desirable. The role requires occasional travel within EMEA and a proactive approach to process optimisation and continuous improvement.
