The role
Safeguard computer networks, cloud environments, and sensitive data for education sector stakeholders across the state.
Develop and implement security controls, monitor for threats, and respond to incidents to prevent infiltration.
Lead efforts to achieve and maintain TX-RAMP certification while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and standards.
Create and enforce information security policies and procedures, and perform risk assessments and threat analytics.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert, guide security programs, and deliver training and awareness initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to address threats and improve security posture.
