The role
Operate and drive trucks safely in compliance with DOT regulations.
Plan routes using maps to determine the most efficient local paths.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
Load and unload cargo using crane operations; HMO license required.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues.
Support yard and warehouse duties when not driving, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.
