The role
Lead short- and long-term demand forecasts for service parts and accessories across global distribution centers.
Collaborate with Global Supply Managers, Field Operations, Inventory Management, Production, Service leadership, and Marketing to identify demand drivers.
Analyze historical consumption data using statistical models and time series analysis to reveal trends.
Develop programs in statistical computing and analytics to improve forecast accuracy and identify operational inefficiencies.
Coordinate material End-of-Life transition planning to ensure long-term service coverage while minimizing obsolescence.
Support labor planning and staffing at warehouses to balance service levels with cost across multiple locations.
