The role
Ensure compliance with all legal deadlines and accurate case filings for personal injury matters.
Review case files to verify statutes, tolling, and timely filings.
Maintain a master list of statutes of limitations and key deadlines for active matters.
Assist in strategies to mitigate statute-related risks and in government claim filings (California Government Claims Act and Federal Tort Claims).
Conduct early case reviews for matters involving public entities and monitor progression from claim through resolution.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely progression and compliant government claims.
