The role
Develop and review policy documents to ensure alignment with regulatory standards (NIGC MICs, GCR, ICS) and current best practices.
Identify outdated or ineffective policies and drive modernization efforts with stakeholders and Compliance Management.
Coordinate with the tribal gaming commission and department stakeholders to review changes, ensure proper controls, and maintain segregation of duties.
Lead risk-based scheduling for policy revisions and risk assessments following IIA standards, focusing on emerging process risks.
Support audit remediation actions, track corrective actions, and monitor implementation across internal and external audits.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and gaming authorities to align on policy revisions and compliance activities.
