The role
Lead the development of AI/ML modules to accelerate biocide formulation, stability, and efficacy decisions across R&D programs.
Collaborate with data scientists to frame problems, select features, and validate models (regression, classification, optimization) for formulation performance.
Design and execute lab validation loops, run confirmatory experiments, and translate results into actionable tools for bench scientists.
Define metadata schemas, data lineage, and pipelines from ELN/LIMS to analytics platforms to ensure reproducibility and governance.
Train and coach scientists on AI workflows and create model cards, SOPs, and decision trees to enable adoption.
Develop dashboards and user-facing apps, and support sustainability and cost optimization while ensuring model explainability.
